At Pat Hermann Photography, watching families grow is truly one of the greatest joys of what I do. Zelda is one of our Baby Planners and the third baby — and the first girl! — that I’ve had the honor of photographing for this wonderful family. Seeing her in front of my camera felt like déjà vu most sweetly, because she looks so much like her big brothers did at this age!

At nine months old, she was on a mission. Determined, curious, and full of personality, Zelda was ready to move! She was rolling over, sitting up like a pro, pulling up on everything she could reach, and even showing off her toe-eating skills. This stage is such a fun age to photograph because their little personalities are shining through, and they can do so much. Every milestone becomes a memory frozen in time.

She truly did it all during her session — and she rocked every single second of it.

I can hardly believe we’ll be planning her cake smash soon. Time moves far too fast, and my little clients always seem to grow up in the blink of an eye. It’s such an honor to document these fleeting seasons for families year after year.

I had the privilege of photographing Isaac since before he was even born, and I was thrilled to capture his 2-year session. Two-year-old sessions can be challenging, but Isaac made my job incredibly easy with his infectious smile and willingness to play.

We had a blast playing with all sorts of cars, dump trucks, and teddy bears. Isaac was full of life and on the go, but he happily stopped to pose and smile for me when asked. I couldn't have asked for an easier session with such a fun little guy.

Beau is one of our baby planners that I am so fortunate to be able to see every month! He is seriously the happiest baby and has rolls for days! Can you think of a more fun or original theme his mom chose? They call him Beau-Bot at home so this theme was absolute perfection for him! Not to mention that he is also the cutest baby ever!!

We started the session with some basic portraits of Beau in his onesie. He was so calm and relaxed, it was like he knew he was in good hands. Then, we moved on to some more creative shots. We put Beau in a little robot costume and had him pose with some of his favorite toys. He was such a natural!

Wide awake and so darling. Gabriel kept an eye on me a majority of the time during his session. He loved to be wrapped up warm and tight. We even caught a little smile!
